Breton, Noir 2018

Breton Wines was born out of an Aussie falling in love with all things France. And when you have that mix of Australian know-how crossed with French flair, you get classically elegant wine but with a fresh, modern twist. Championing their range as artisan "wines to celebrate" - Breton are all about the good times sharing a bottle or two over long lunches with friends. Noir 2018 is a blend of Grenache & Syrah; it's grown in Beaumes de Venise, just across the way from the world-renowned town of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It has an enticing nose of wild bramble, blackberry and liquorice which leads to a deliciously rounded, smooth palette with flavours of blueberry and vanilla. It's a perfect pair with beef stroganoff and other hearty dishes.
